Sometimes when the wind hits, it's inevitable, your old roof starts to fall apart. But did you know that wind damage does not only happen to old roofs? You may be experiencing wind damage due to an incorrectly installed roof or failing/cheap products.

Some tell-tale signs of an aging roof are finding granules in your gutters. If a roof prematurely looses its granules it is likely due to failing shingles or a recalled product. If we determine it is a recalled product. Gregg Roofing can help with the claim process for a nominal fee.

When inspecting your roof, look for deterioration of the flanges around you roof vents. These are known as pipe boots or pipe seals. Look over all roof ventilation and check for cracks, broken seals, rusted fasteners and debris build up. Give us a call and we can repair or replace them.

We offer discounted roof maintenance plans for choosing Gregg Roofing to do your initial roof maintenance (clean and treat roof, clean gutters, and/or minor repairs). We recommend annual maintenance and cleaning in the spring or late fall. This is because the rain we tend to get in these months allow the roof treatment to wash down the entire surface of the roof, penetrating residual moss from the initial moss removal.
